Sound Rating for AcoustiCORK Underlay

AcoustiCORK Products have been tested in accordance to ASTM standards for acoustical values at Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories, an independent laboratory accredited by the National Bureau of Standards of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NVLAP. Its unique wave texture minimizes direct contact with the subfloor, resulting in a 25 IIC improvement in impact noise transmission, as tested per ASTM E-2179, the highest documented performance for an underlayment less than ¼” thick.
