NOISEPROOFING ACOUSTICAL SEALANT

Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant is a water-based sealant designed to reduce sound transmissions in walls and partition systems. Its primary function is to achieve and maintain the specific STC (Sound Transmission Class) value of the system design.

Noiseproofing Acoustical Sealant remains permanently flexible and adheres firmly to wood or metal studs, concrete, gypsum board and most other types of building substrates. Maintains a tough rubber-like seal against air-borne sound, air infiltration and moisture. Our Noiseproofing Sealant offers fast, smooth, easy application. Clean up is also quick and easy with just soap and water.

Apply a 1/4" bead of Noisproofing Sealant around the perimeter of wall assemblies. Fill to depth of panel. Completely fill voids and larger openings. Apply to seal all openings formed from outlets, lights and electrical box installations.
